On the sidewalk opposite the Kerry Center, an elderly Shanghai couple walked by. The woman had short, curly hair, somewhat gray, and walked briskly. The man wore a gray jacket and pushed a silver-white bicycle that was a bit old, but the chain was shiny and black.

As I passed them, I heard the woman complain, “What a great mood to go for a walk and watch a movie together, why your shabby bike here…”
